Cooling, heating and humidification

The amount of air is very important, but the quality of the air is certainly as important. In the Netherlands we have a mild sea climate. This means that humidification is hardly necessary. Mechanical cooling for long-term storage or for seed potatoes is usually part of the installation.

We often apply heating in the colder regions; not only to compensate the cold coming through the insulation of the walls and the roof, but also to prevent condensation.

The hatches are also manufactured with heating so that the air in the storage room can be refreshed even at -35 °C.
