Fans are the most important part of the ventilation system. The amount of air and the way the air is blown or sucked through the product determines the fan type and size.
For potatoes, onions and other tuber and bulbous crops we use axial flow fans. For grains, seeds and pulses, centrifugal fans are generally applied.
Fans that set a circulation in motion above the product are axial flow fans, suitable for large amounts of air and with a long housing for a long throw.
