Laying hen barn with 2 stories, fully fitted with Hotraco controls. The electrotechnical system was realised by professional dealer Bert Aanstoot E.T.I.B. from Laren (Gld.).
The barn has been fitted with a new Smartwinch motor to control the air intake valves and provide end-wall ventilation. Feeding takes place via a day silo on each floor. These are placed on load cells, for registration of the feed. There are also various lighting clocks (main lighting in 3 groups, LED system lighting and lighting under the system) which are switched on and off by the Orion PS.
The egg collection system is fitted with 4x EMEC-12-20 egg counters per floor. The eggs are counted before they are transported by the elevator to the rail conveyor. Collection and delivery to the egg packer can take place on both floors simultaneously. Packaging the eggs and placing them on pallets is also carried out fully automatically.
